01 / Introduction

Turns visual ideas
into working systems.

Brand & Digital Designer

I work across brand identities, visual systems, websites, and interfaces. I like taking an idea, figuring out what makes it interesting, and turning it into something that looks great and actually works. I’m hands-on throughout the process, from exploring the first direction to getting the final details right.

I’m always experimenting, whether it’s motion, 3D, code, or something completely new. Sometimes it’s for a project, and sometimes it’s just because I have an idea I want to try. I’ve never really separated design from the rest of my life. It’s something I’m constantly learning, exploring, and finding new ways to push further.

02 / Design Philosophy

Enough structure to function. Enough atmosphere to be remembered.

  1. 01

A point of view, not a template

I start from a clear visual idea: a type voice, a palette, a way of moving. References matter, but the aim is work that belongs to the brand rather than to a trend.

  2. 02

    Systems that earn their structure

Every rule in a system should make the work easier to use or to extend. On this site, one content model and one set of type and color tokens shape every project, so new work fits without a redesign.

  3. 03

    Design through making

I find out what a design needs by making it: prototypes in code, motion tests, and 3D in Blender. Problems that look solved in a static frame often show up on a phone or a short laptop screen, and that is where I fix them.

03 / Professional Experience

From client production to program leadership.

At Digital NEST I’ve moved from production design to program leadership. I joined as a web and graphic designer, producing collateral for clients. As a senior design associate I mentored intern designers and worked across teams on client projects, then built and taught the design curriculum as an instructor. I now lead the Visual & UX/UI Design pathway, where teaching design sharpens how I explain decisions, give feedback, and structure work for other people.

I’ve always been curious about how things look, move, and work. I’ll find inspiration in music, film, old graphics, or something completely unexpected and start thinking about what I could make with it. Sometimes that turns into an experiment in 3D, motion, or digital art. Other times it’s just an idea I want to figure out. I enjoy that part of the process as much as the finished work.

I earned my associate degree at De Anza College before studying Communication Design at CSU Monterey Bay, where I focused on web design. My education gave me a foundation in design and problem-solving, but I’ve continued building on it by experimenting, learning new tools, and making things on my own.

05 / Connect

Let’s make something clear and memorable.

I’m open to full-time roles in brand and digital design. I’m also interested in collaborating with studios, organizations, and independent clients on identity, web, and visual-system projects.

In either setting, I’m most useful when there’s a clear idea to turn into a lasting system. Email is the best way to reach me.
